Anna Harper, Ph.D.

Dr Anna Harper is a climate scientist who studies the two-way interaction between vegetation and the atmosphere at the University of Exeter in southwest England. She holds a prestigious independent research fellowship from the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council to study negative emissions with bioenergy crops and carbon capture and storage, and their effect on ecosystems, food, energy, and water.

Through collaborative partnerships, we support innovative projects that protect vulnerable wildlife from extinction, while restoring balance to threatened ecosystems and communities. Our work is divided into six main program areas – Wildlands Conservation, Oceans Conservation, Climate Change, Indigenous Rights, Transforming California, and Innovative Solutions.
