Grammenos Mastrojeni

Diplomat, Professor and writer. Since the early 1990s, he has undertaken research into the link between protection of the environment, development and peace. Co-ordinator for the Environment for Development Cooperation, national focal point for the fight against land degradation, head of delegation to UN conferences on desertification, and is a member of negotiating teams on climate, biodiversity, water and oceans. He collaborates with the Climate Reality Project, launched by the Al Gore Nobel Prize.

Through collaborative partnerships, we support innovative projects that protect vulnerable wildlife from extinction, while restoring balance to threatened ecosystems and communities. Our work is divided into six main program areas – Wildlands Conservation, Oceans Conservation, Climate Change, Indigenous Rights, Transforming California, and Innovative Solutions.
