The Plastic Solutions Fund is a funders collaborative focused on reducing single use disposable plastics with a goal of phasing out all non-essential uses by 2035. It focuses on countries most vulnerable to pollution, seeking to build a global movement to eliminate plastic packaging waste and stem the flow into the world’s oceans.
Grantmaking priorities for the coming year include projects to secure new policies to reduce single use disposable plastics, to reduce demand in the United States, and to continue to build the global movement. Ongoing priorities include projects to hold consumer product companies accountable to reduce plastic waste, as well as grants to demonstrate “zero waste” cities, particularly in Asia.
