Nature for Water

In support of World Water Day 2018 and the launch of the United Nations International Water Action Decade, the UN Development Program published a new paper called Nature for Water summarizing the latest research on the current state of water resources and how crucial it is that we protect and restore natural ecosystems if we are to meet our growing need for clean water.

Through collaborative partnerships, we support innovative projects that protect vulnerable wildlife from extinction, while restoring balance to threatened ecosystems and communities. Our work is divided into six main program areas – Wildlands Conservation, Oceans Conservation, Climate Change, Indigenous Rights, Transforming California, and Innovative Solutions.
